When I was diving I spent a week in Bali fanning feather stars looking for ornate ghostpipefish to film. Unfortunately, my camera drowned many years ago and it was too painful to stick another camera in the housing and feel the pain of several thousand dollars worth of equipment say bye bye as sea water floods the housing.I spent probably half an hour scanning the trees outside my house before I finally spotted these birds. The top photo is a male and the photo below is a pair mother and baby. The female is the one leading the way. I need a industrial strength telephoto lens the kind the paparazzi use.
