Bat Lilies In Bloom

I went for my extended morning hike today, which took me from home to the tree-top walk to jelutong tower before heading home. During the morning walk, we heard what sounded like owls but we weren't able to locate them as they were deep inside the jungle. We did manage to locate a large bird perched high up in one of the tall trees rising above the canopy but we weren't able to identify it. Its head was obscured by the tree trunk. There were birds but they stayed away from trail and boardwalk.
During the walk, I did notice that the bat lilies were getting ready to bloom. The last time I blogged about this flower was when I first photographed it at Sungei Buloh.

During my walk, I found several plants with buds.
