The guavas were getting huge and I have been waiting for the Blue-Crowned Hanging Parrots to return. Finally, three young parrots showed up to feast on the ripe fruits and to keep me enthralled in my backyard. I shot these photographs from my bathroom.
I wonder where were the adults as these three were young birds with out their mature plumage. Thus far, the birds that have been eating the guavas have been immature birds. They are also very entertaining to watch as they approach the fruits and lean over to eat. Sometime, they lose their balance and fall off.
