I found this morning market on my second day in Luang Prabang and I visited it everyday as it continuously yielded interesting scenes for me and my camera. This is a tableau I caught - the beheading of a live cat fish, the squirting blood just missed me and my camera.
The lady first makes cuts to the head of the cat fish with the bloody knife next to her. She then transfers the fish to the chopping block and uses the cleaver.

The second chop severs the body from the head.
Deed is done and the seller reaches to pick-up the body.
Fresh! Fresh! Still bloody.
