The Southwest monsoon has finally arrived and giving us respite from the dry weather and the haze. With the rain comes renewal in the reserves and the mass bloom of fungi of all kinds. As there is very little known of the forest fungi, I can only bring you photos of the fungi I found these past two days.
I will start from the very tiny to the very large. These fungi resemble parasols and were found sprouting on leaf litter.Here's another species that I spotted sprouting on dried palm fibre.These were larger and nevertheless interesting. Almost translucent ones growing off a rotting branch.Solitary mushroom growing out of leaf litter.To see more click fungi
