The pair are still nesting and the male is still hard at work bringing lizards to his mate. On 31 Jan he caught another Common Gliding Lizard. Since he is now feeding a family, the lizards are caught and immediately brought to the female intact and very much alive. Over past week, the lizards caught are smaller and I can only guess that they are being fed to the chick or chicks by the female.Having watched the pair for almost three months, anticipating where the pair will make the transfer enabled this sequence to be shot. The female has also started leaving the nest to hunt. This could mean that the chicks are growing fast and demanding more food. My hope is that the chicks will fledge before I leave for Kochi.
