I've been nursing a head cold these past couple of days and I thought fresh some fresh air would do me good. With the constant sneezing, I chose not to set my goals to high but decided to take some improvement shots of the Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker, which is a common bird.

After standing at the drive way of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve for two mornings, I only sighted the female. In both instances the tiny flowerpecker was not facing me, and I ended up with two comical photos of the bird.

I like them. They come into the eco gardens that i built in schools and go for the melastoma fruits.
Thanks! I've been so busy trying to photograph migratory birds and pulling together my photobook. It was during the process that I realised that I had very few good shots of these delightful little birds.
