Kampong Lorong Buangkok

Finally, navigated my way to the last standing kampong on the main island of Singapore. Since it was a weekday, most of the houses in the kampong were shut.

There wasn't many people around and I got to walk around the place and snap a couple of interesting shots.

If the occupant was home, I would ask permission to enter but politely only shoot structure and interesting things around the property and avoid photographing the occupant.
Cacao tree with flowers and some fruits.
Sad to see that the kampong is surrounded by development and I think that it'll be gone in a matter of time. Development is right on the edge of this house and it's just a pocket of serenity with encroaching cranes and tractors.
