Casuarina Curry

Casuarina Curry I first took Leah (or prata face as we have affectionately named her. She had prata every day while she was staying with me. Her favorite is cheese prata.) there and since then I've been back to Casuarina Curry (126 Casuarina Road Off Upper Thomson Road) ever so often for the roti prata, masala thosai and the occasional biryani. Drove there this afternoon to get egg prata and chicken biryani for lunch. cook hard at workMy other favorite outlet is Zam Zam (697/699 North Bridge Road) is an institution that has been around since 1908. The mutton murtabak is like a prata stuffed with ground mutton, chopped onions, and egg, and served piping hot for you to dip into a curry sauce. To add to the cultural experience, this place is across the street from the Masjid Sultan mosque, and the restaurant staff stops every so often for the call to prayer. plating
