It Pays To Teach Your Help To Cook

I had cleared my Sunday schedule in anticipation of work coming through and had picked three dishes which Lilik could prepare on her own - chicken in mushroom stew (a creamy stew featuring fresh enoki, shitake, hon shimeiji, and shimeji fuzhou), fish ball (chicken meat filling) with cabbage soup and sotong you tiao with Japanese mayo. I have experimented with these dishes for some time now and she has watched me prepare them each time. And she did a good job with them although her stew could use a little more salt. This is another cook that I am trying to teach to taste and adjust her dishes but it still isn't quite getting into her head. However, I can't complain much as we had a pretty good lunch.
