InterContinental Bangkok

I finally got access at the McCafe across from the hotel and am posting my first blog overseas. I'm at the InterContinental hotel, this is the room that I am sharing with my friend who is here on business. The hotel is in a great location with the BTS within walking distance and shopping malls galore. There is MBK, Siam Paragon, Central World, and Platinum Mall all within train or walking distance. The room is well thought out and travellers don't need to worry about plug configuration as this hotel has made it idiot proof.I just love the huge flower displays at the hotel, this is one that is the center piece in the lobby.
