I stumbled on these dreadlocked insects on a small bush and they looked very interesting with their white dreadlocks. I initially thought that they were caterpillars but they moved faster and they jump.
This one kind of shows you what is under the dreadlocks but the lens still can't pick-up up details as the insect just won't stay still. My guess is they are a species of mealy bugs.
