The sunbirds are busy nest building again and I spied this little lady flying around my backyard collecting material for her nest. On Saturday, she was collecting dried orchid fiber from my
cattleya .
On Sunday, I pulled out the camera and waited for her to visit again. This time she was picking up cat fur off the brooms my helpers use. I was rather amused as she found a reuse the downy cat hair of my fat cats.
We've taken to leaving the brooms out in the morning so that the little bird can pick off what ever lining it needs for its nest.
