Blue-Crowned Hanging Parrots

It seems that the parakeets that have been raiding my neighbor's guavas are rare parrots. I have been photographing and enjoying the antics of the Blue-crowned Hanging Parrots (Loriculus galgulus).
These small green parrots are about 12 cm long and rather rare in Singapore. They get their name from the prominent blue crown patch in the male. Adults spot black bills and the juvenile yellowish bill.
From my photos I have photographed a young male and a fledged juvenile. This is the male with the blue-crown but the red on it chest is still not apparent.
It feeds hanging upside down. This here is the juvenile that dropped in this evening.
