I had major chicken rice craving and I drove over to one of my favorite chicken places since I was at SGH - Fook Seng Golden Hill Chicken Rice. I ordered the premium set and a plate of raw fish. I was told by the owner rather apologetically that I had to wait for my order. Do I mind? No as I want my chicken rice period. Personally, I think this is better than Tian Tian as I don't quite dig the starchy sauce that Tian Tian pours over their chicken.My order didn't take more than 10 minutes and I was soon happily tucking into my lunch. I like thick good dark soy sauce on my plate of rice.
This place works for me as the rice is not greasy and the chicken is very tender and tasty just the way I like it.
