The Color Green In Nature

Green is one of my favorite color on living plants. I especially love the green of growing paddy plants in the fields. That was how I got started growing paddy as ornamental plants and using them as my living studio to attract birds like the munia. As the monsoons are upon us, I have been looking out for interesting sprouting leaves to photograph in the early morning to create a green collection.Fern shoots are also very artistic if you frame them. The background it totally black as I had used a flash and there was nothing behind each of these shoots - it was intentional.
