White-Faced Saki Monkey

I met this little new world monkey on my way to watch the elephant show. He was sitting on the fence and was confident enough that people heading to watch the show wouldn't harm him.
I was so enamored by this little primate that I spent the next 30 minutes patiently waiting for the monkey to pose for me. In certain poses he had almost human like features like a Groucho Marx mustache. The Sakis are small monkeys with long, bushy tails, and this little fella is the White-faced Saki Monkey. This species is found in Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. They live in the understory and lower canopy of the forest, and feed mostly on fruits, but will also eat nuts, seeds, and insects.
