It's been busy, busy, busy time for me. Hence, the lack of photos and chatter. Took these photos last Saturday at my favorite spot hoping to catch a glimpse of the otter again. Instead, I got an eyeful of large birds in flight. May be it was too early in the morning and my brain was still woolly didn't register the raptors that were perched on the dead standing trees till they took off. To make matters worse, I took crappy shots of these birds in flight. Darn!!!
My excuse, still getting use to the 500mm lens , and extremely rusty at panning. I did however, manage to photograph the Grey Herons as there were too many of them for me to miss.

I find them fantastic!
Errr...I was referring to the raptors. I had nice fuzzy shots of those birds.
