The "Long Kao" Snake

The Blue-necked Keelback is another snake that seems to have an affinity with me. Thus far I've seen the species three times. This morning's sighting of the snake in the drain, makes four Whoop!!!! I was packing the camera this time and had an opportunity to re-shoot this beautiful snake.
Just managed to catch a full snake shot with my macro lens. This one looked well fed as it had a nice round girth.Had to be careful not to tumble into the drain and ended up scratching my sunglasses as I leaned onto the pavement to get closer shots. The photo shoot ended when people who know me stopped to view the snake and it made its getaway slithering up the side of the drain and into the undergrowth.

Wow....! Brilliant Shots... So it looks like the drain is the Blue-Necked Keelback's Favourite place to spend! You must bring me there! Haha!

Ha! Ha! I walk the route everyday and only seen it twice in a year. So you are going to have to camp there a year to improve your chance of seeing this snake.

Haha... But it has been proved that this snake is really fond of that drain... Or else you would not see 2 snakes of the same kind at the same place and nowhere else!

True but you have to be very lucky to see it.
