This afternoon the male White-throated Kingfisher brought his mate three lizards of various sizes which she gladly accepted after the pair sang to each other. I am still too slow in catching the food exchange between the pair. However, I did manage to document the pair in the act this evening. From what I've seen these past three days, she is already sitting in the nest hole and the male has been extremely diligent in bringing her tasty morsels.

Great series of shots Shirls! Wonder why they like those garden skinks so much, and you're really lucky to have spotted a mating pair!
The male is the hunter. It is he who is very adapt in hunting skinks.
