Another random choice which turned out to be a gem. Went into the Grand Residencia on a whim to cool down and have lunch. The restaurant on the back served Kerala cuisine along with the usual fare.
Ordered a local dish called Mean Pollichathu (Roasted Fish in a Banana leaf Wrap) with rice which arrived in 15 minutes on a white plate with pickles on the side.Unwrapping the fish was a great surprise when the fragrance of the dish hits you. The colors is another factor that just begs one to dive in. The tangy and aromatic paste that enveloped the fish gets your taste buds going. It was especially fragrant when the whole pieces of curry leaves are chewed along with the paste and fish. This dish got an A+ and the price was reasonable too.
