These birds are just about the most entertaining birds if you get a chance to observe them while they hop around in what I call a happy bounce. They are exuberant and cheeky as they tease you when they are in the mood to, and they always seem totally carefree. 
Like crazy bird, its cousin the White Rump Sharma is prized as a song bird and the wild population here is small.
