Road Tripping

I went road tripping like the lyrics of a Red Hot Chili Peppers song, we drove from Singapore to Penang with a car load of snacks and got lost in Penang. It was nice to do things differently as I'm used to zipping around in an airplane for my vacations. Since I've not been to Malaysia in many years and it was fun to rediscover the country across the causeway. Penang was all about food and we indulged despite getting lost as we tried to navigate our way around Penang.
Then we drove to Cameron Highlands to buy plants. Brinchang was where we ended up at since The Equatorial Hotel was fully booked during the peak holiday season. We found lodging at the Star Regency, which is nothing to crow about but it was convenient.
I managed to find time to drop in on two butterfly farms to see what wild life these farms had. After buying our quota of six potted plants, we headed south homeward bound with a quick pit stop in Melaka for lunch.
Overall, the trip was pleasant but for being stuck in a bad jam at the Second Link for over an hour and a half.
