Where Have The Dead Standing Trees Gone?

Mother Nature left a number of standing dead trees within the nature reserve near where I live. These trees have become part of the landscape and also serve as perches for the birds of prey that live around the area and those that fly through. The two tall standing dead trees were felled not by the strong winds but by saws last week changing the entire area's tree scape, the big birds have lost their favorite perches.
Birds of prey need such standing dead trees because of their wide wing span, a life tree just has too many branches and leaves that will hinder the birds during their take off.The resident pair of White-bellied Sea Eagles with their two fledglings flew over head looking for their regular perches but left when they couldn't locate the tress. A Changeable Hawk flew by and continued on as well.
