Still doing the hospital run and leaving the camera handy on the couch. Today, I spied a male Crimson Sunbird among the heliconia flowers. Managed to get into position before the bird spotted me, then it was a quiet standoff when the bird spotted me.
As the bird decided whether it should flee, I photographed it going through the motions before it flew further into the heliconia thicket where my camera couldn't reach it.
