Tanjong Pagar KTM Station Revisited

An impromptu trip back to Tanjong Pagar KTM Station on a Saturday morning with friends was great fun. They had wanted to photograph the station but were turned back by the station master. May be too many people have been walking around and pose a threat to security of station and passengers. We did still manage to photograph the façade of the station and the vagrant who was sleeping on the driveway of the station.
Our brekkie was at M. Hasan Railway Station Canteen on platform 1. I took the lead in sampling one the railway food stalls, Noor Muslim Food located at M. Hasan Railway Food Station, stall No. 5 and 6. Had to try the baseball soto - a large ball of mashed potato and minced mutton served in a bowl of soto soup.
We ended sitting on platform 1 for over four hours eating, drinking teh tarik, chatting and laughing away a Saturday morning. We broke off at lunch time with take away orders.
A friend ordered three packets of baseball soto to take home. I went to Ali Nachia Special Dam Briyani and bought a packet of mutton briyani.
The mutton was so well cooked that the meat was falling off the bone tender, and the serving was large enough for two people to share.
